Determine how many HDDs you will require to build a project server based on your needs. almost all chassis are 3.5″ and 2.5″ compatible, while 5.25 optical drive bays are unfit for mini ITX chassis. It is also conceivable to look for hot-swappable drive bays for easy maintenance and replacement.
PSU compatibility:
Aside from appearance, you’ll want to know what sort of PSU is compatible with the ITX NAS case, whether SFX, 1U FlexATX or SFX-Large.
CPU cooler clearance:
